The Volvo S80 3.2, XC70 3.2 and XC60 3.2 are all
PARTIAL ZERO EMISSIONS VEHICLES (PZEV)
THEY MEET TODAY’S CLEANEST EMISSIONS STANDARDS FOR GASOLINE-POWERED VEHICLES.

A vehicle with a PZEV rating emits about 2 pounds of hydrocarbons during 100,000 miles of driving – the equivalent of spilling a pint of gasoline.
Some hybrid vehicles do not meet the PZEV standard.
A PZEV -rated vehicle would have to be driven more than 2,100 miles, or approximately seven trips between Boston and Philadelphia, to equal the emissions produced by a 5.4 horsepower lawnmower in one hour of use.
Grilling one hamburger in your backyard produces the same smog-forming emissions as driving a PZEV car for three hours or 180 miles.
